About me

I have recently completed my PhD in Theoretical Physics within the condensed matter and photonics group, School of Physics and Astronomy at Cardiff University, supervised by Dr Egor Muljarov and Prof Wolfgang Langbein, to whom I am very grateful for their guidance.

I studied the effect of phonon-induced dephasing on exciton coherent coupling in quantum dots and cavity quantum electrodynamics. First part of my work has focused on the nonlinear optical response of an exciton-cavity system, where I studied the effect of phonons on coherent light-matter coupling and its implications for two-dimensional optical spectroscopy. I have explored the non-Markovian behaviour, which arises due to the interaction of exciton with longitudinal acoustic phonons in the presence of optical non-linearity and the manifestations of this behaviour in the four-wave mixing signal. I have also studied Förster transfer between coupled quantum dots in a common phonon environment.
